- Atlanta – Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP (MMM) has elected four attorneys to become partners effective January 1, 2010. They are associates Jeff Douglass, Brian Harris and Seth Weiner and of counsel Jason Wright. Respectively they represent the firm’s litigation, employment, corporate and government practices.
“During their years with the firm, these four attorneys have made great contributions to growing their various practices and each will be a terrific addition to the partnership,” said Managing Partner Robert E. Saudek.

Jeffrey K. Douglass practices in the area of commercial litigation with an emphasis on products liability and class action litigation. Douglass has litigated cases in numerous state, superior and appellate courts including the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court. In addition, he has represented clients in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. Douglass received his law degree from the University of Georgia.
Brian M. Harris is widely respected for his work in the employment law field. Harris focuses on representing and counseling public and private companies with regard to employment law, executive compensation and restrictive covenants. In addition, Harris offers clients guidance with respect to multi-state employment concerns, including compliance issues and policy and procedure reviews. Harris received his law degree from Duke University School of Law.
Seth Weiner is a veteran of the corporate, securities and real estate industries. His practice concentrates on representing public and private companies in general corporate matters, securities offerings and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Weiner has significant experience assisting public companies, including listed and non-listed REITs and real estate limited partnerships, with respect to initial public offerings and secondary offerings. Weiner received his law degree from the University of Michigan.
Jason P. Wright is a member of the firm’s litigation practice, where he focuses his practice on direct and inverse condemnation litigation by eminent domain, with experience representing both property owners and governmental entities in matters related to all types of property, including multi-use, business, industrial, residential and unimproved acreage. Wright also focuses on construction, environmental litigation, trademark and intellectual property litigation, corporate disputes and healthcare regulatory compliance. He is experienced in complex litigation matters at both the trial and appellate levels and has successfully handled countless administrative hearings and appeals. Wright was selected as a Georgia Rising Star by Atlanta Magazine in 2009 and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Law.
